Your path, your spool, your name. Ariadne is our 3D-printed finger spool for cave and technical divers, named after the thread that showed the way out. You get your color layers, your nickname on the body, and a form factor the hand already knows.
Design of the finger spool
- Form factor inspired by the Halcyon Defender spool (30 m): comfortable in the hand when deploying and retrieving the line.
- Printed in ABS filament: durable and water-resistant.
- Line capacity: up to 35 m of #24 line or 50 m of #18 line, for jumps, safety spools and DSMB deployment.
Personalization
- Up to four color combinations for the body, in your style or team colors; the colors are agreed on request.
- Your nickname printed on the body.
Line options
- Without line.
- With line: #24 line (Halcyon), 30 m, white; or #18 line, 45 m, white, pink, orange or lime green. Both lines are slightly negatively buoyant.

Field test
Ariadne spools went through half a year of testing in more than 200 cave dives and more than 100 ocean dives before the first sets went to divers.
